SMVDU is a fully residential University set up on the pattern of IITs. This University is recognised by UGC Act u/s 2(f) &  12 (b) and is fully residential providing well furnished accommodation and other facilities.

SMVDU Recruitment for various Non-Teaching Staffs in various Departments | Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the following Non-Teaching Positions: -

• Senior Technical Assistant (Thermal & Strength of Material Lab.): (PB of Rs. 9300-34800 with GP Rs. 4200 
• Workshop Attendant: (Pay Band of Rs. 4440-7440 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1300/-). 
• Network Administrator: (Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 GP-5400/-); 
• Assistant (Networking) PB of Rs. 5200-20200 with GP of Rs. 2800/- ; 15. Stenographer: (PB of Rs. 5200- 20200 with GP of Rs. 2800/-) 
• Laboratory Assistant (Physics) Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 with GP of Rs. 2800/-); 
• Laboratory Assistant (Electronics & Communication Engineers) (Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 with GP of Rs. 2800/-).

How to apply: Candidates may apply on the prescribed format along with a  Application forms duly filled accompanied with attested copies of Date of birth, qualification / experience certificates issued by the Competent Authority alongwith application fee should be submitted to the office of The Registrar, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Sub Post Office, Katra–182 320 (J&K) to be sent by Registered / Speed Post only so as to reach by or before 31st May 2011.

The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed the name of the post applied for. The application forms can also be procured from the Public Relations Office, SMVD University at Jammu on payment of Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Registrar, SMVDU.
