EMPANELMENT OF CONTRACT MANPOWER 

DECU is involved in realizing various satellite-based societal applications like Tele-Education, Tele-Medicine, etc. The two important elements of such projects are the ‘Video Programme Production’ which is done in the areas of education, development, science, space applications, etc. and the ‘Social Research Studies’ which are conducted in the areas of communication, science-society interaction, societal impact of space technology, etc. DECU invites applications for empanelment of the following categories:

Manpower Empanelment Category:

• Social Research Officer: Master’s Degree (2 years) in any branch of Social Sciences OR PG Diploma in Management,etc. AND minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in handling the Research Projects independently Download Form
• Social Research Assistant: Master’s Degree (2 years) in any branch of Social Sciences OR PG Diploma in Management, etc. Fresh candidates can also apply including those who have appeared for their final exams and awaiting results. Download Form  
• Sound Recordist: Diploma (3 years) in Sound Engineering/Recording AND 5 years of relevant experience Download Form
• Production Assistant: Graduate* + 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma (3 years) in Dramatics AND 5 years of relevant experience Download Form
• Programme Assistant: Master’s Degree in Communication, Development Communication OREquivalent. Fresh candidate can also apply including those who have appeared for their final exams and awaiting results. Download Form
• Non-Linear Editor: Graduate* + 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Video / Non-Linear editing / Fine / Commercial Arts + 5 years of relevant experience AND Formal Non-Linear Editing/Multimedia Course (6 months). Professionals with ‘Degree/Diploma in Non-Linear Editing’ need not have the Formal NLE/Multimedia course certificate Download Form
• Multi-Media Designer: Graduate* + 3 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Fine/Commercial Arts +  5 years of relevant experience  AND Formal Multimedia Course (6 months). Professionals with ‘Degree/Diploma in Multimedia / Animation’ need not have the Formal Multimedia course certificate. Download Form
• Multi-Media Expert: Graduate* + 6 years of relevant experience  OR Diploma in Fine/Commercial Arts +  8 years of relevant experience  AND Formal Multimedia Course (6 months). Professionals with ‘Degree / Diploma in Multimedia / Animation’ need not have the Formal Multimedia course certificate. Download Form

Envelop for submitting application should be super-scribed in bold letters “Application for the DECU Manpower Empanelment - Ref. No. & Category” 

Please note that, it is not a regular job, it is only empanelment for people up to 40 years of age as on May 1, 2011 People already on panel need to apply again. Since workplace is DECU/ISRO, Ahmedabad, candidates from Ahmedabad or nearby places will be preferred.
