Indian Navy Invites Final Year Engineering Students to Join The Indian Navy as SSC

Indian Navy has invited Application from unmarried male and female candidates who full fill eligibility condition of Nationality as laid down by the Government of India for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Technical/Executive Branches of the Indian Navy under University Entry Scheme (UES), for course commencing July 2012, on following Eligibility Conditions given below 

• Age Limits: Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1988 to 01 July 1993; both dates inclusive) 
• Pay Scale: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs. 5400/- MSP Rs. 6000/- 
• Educational Qualifications: Applicant should be studying in AICTE approved College/Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks till pre final year (Those in the final years need not apply) 
• Engineering Branch (Only Men): Mechanical | Marine | Automotive | Mechatronics | Industrial and Production | Metallurgy | Aeronautical | Aerospace | Control and Production 
• Naval Architecture Cadre (Men and Women): Naval Architecture |Civil | Mechanical | Aerospace | Metallurgy | Aeronautical 
• Electrical Branch (Only Men): Electrical | Electronics  Telecommunication | Instrumentation | Instrumentation and Control | Electronics and Instrumentation | Electronics and Communication | Power Engineering | Control System Engineering | Power Electronics | Computer Science | Information Technology |Avionics Engineering 
• General Service (X) (Only Men): BE | B. Tech in Mechanical | Marine | Aeronautical | Aerospace | Production | Computer Science Engineering | Information Technology | Control | Electrical | Electronic Telecommunication 
• Physical Standards: You must be physically Fit according to the follosing physical standards Hight and Wieght: Minimum height Male – 157 cms and Female – 152 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight – 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.
